The balance of the course fees is due 4 weeks prior to the start of the course. We can not take bookings for anyone under the age of 18 unless they are with a parent or guardian for the duration of the course. Equipment

When you sign and send a booking form you are confirming that you are fit for the course. Don’t forget the mountains of Scotland are a lot bigger than England and Wales so you should be moderately hill fit. If you’re not sure if you’re fit enough please get in touch for a chat.
Insurance
The cost of the course does not include any travel or personal accident insurance. We strongly recommend that you take some out. The British Mountaineering Council would be a good place to start looking for insurance.
Cancellation
If you cancel over 4 weeks before the course starts then all course fees over and above the deposit will be refunded. If you cancel between 2 & 4 weeks before the course starts then you will be refunded 25% of the total course fee. If you cancel less than 2 weeks before the course starts then there is no refund. All Mountain Professionals will make every attempt to run a course. However, if, due to circumstances outside our control like dangerous and/or unsuitable weather conditions, loss or theft of transport or incapacitating injury, we have to cancel a course we will refund all fees paid (less the deposit) or find another suitable date.
Weather
The weather in Scotland can sometimes be unpredictable. Occasionally the weather and conditions on the hill will dictate where we go. When booking a course you must understand the importance of having flexible plans when in the mountains.
Participation Statement
It must be understood that participating in outdoor activities involves some risk of injury or death. Instructors will take all reasonable care to reduce this risk. As a participant you are required to observe the safety instructions given to you during the course. As you are choosing to partake in this course you should be aware that accidents and injury may occur. All Mountain Professionals is not under any liability whatsoever in respect of loss or damage to personal property, not caused by the negligence or default of All Mountain Professionals and its associates.
